Introduction
This is our official Statement of Belief and forms the basis of our, that is the Fellowships Mission Statement
Divinity
The bible to be the divinely inspired, infallible and supremely authoritative word of God.
The Eternal Trinity
That there is one God eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Love, Grace, and Sovereignty
The love, grace and sovereignty of God in creating, sustaining, ruling, redeeming and judging the world.
Man is Corrupt
That man was originally created in the image of God but in disobeying God in Genesis 3 is alienated from his creator. As a result he is corrupt and unable to please God.
Belief in Jesus
In the incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ, God’s one eternal son, he was truly divine, truly human, without sin and born of a virgin.
Salvation of Man
That the salvation of man is wholly a work of God’s free grace and is not the work, in whole or in part, of human works, personal goodness or religious ceremony. Salvation is freely available to those who put their faith in Christ as their saviour.
Baptism
In baptism as the public testimony of the work of God’s grace in the believers life. We practice this by immersion on the profession of faith.
Ministry of the Holy Spirit
In the ministry of the Holy Spirit who leads us to repentance, dwells within us, encourages us, empowers our discipleship and enables our witness.
The Church is the body of Christ
The Church is the body of Christ both local and universal Through the ministry of all believers and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit we can worship, witness, encourage and minister each other and those around us.
The Return of Jesus
In the personal and visible return of Jesus Christ, the judgement of all people, the resurrection and eternal life of all believers.
