Day 289 and the church timber frame is started, at last. Yes, those are chimney pots on the roof of the houses. No, they do not work and are for decoration only. Anyhoo, moving on from the madness of faux chimney pots the timber frame for the church should be complete a week on Friday, possibly, maybe, who knows. Day 268 Real progress at last. The buildings have literally sprung up from the ground over the last few days, praise God. Whilst this is encouraging news, there are issues that have reared their ugly head recently, so please do keep praying for the development. Click the "Read more" button to see more photos.

Day 250 We are out of the ground, at last. The pictures may not look like much, but they herald the start of a new phase of construction. Day 222 Good news, with God's blessing of decent weather progress has been made on the development site. Click the "Read more" button to see more photos.

Day 216. Well as one wall goes up another comes down! Despite cold, rain and storm Isha some progress has been made. The good news has been tempered slightly with the news that one of walls already built needs to be rebuilt, dooohhh! Still, "In God we trust" which is just as well really. Day 199. The title says it all Mud, mud, mud glorious mud, argggggg. Oh just to see something rise from the foundations. Still just as well it is in God we trust and not mans efforts!

Day 178 Something rise from the mud! Is this the first sign of something actually being built on site? Yes I believe it is a wall, well a beginning of a wall. Day 167 To the untrained eye, that is mine, the pace of development seems to have slowed to a crawl. I understand that the drainage is absolutely vital, but it seems to be taking forever. Day 156 There is more than just mud and concrete to report today, yahoo. The workers have started on the drainage works and the first and biggest project has been started and completed. Day 143 Yes, more mud and concrete and a small landslide. Ben, the site manager says that the foundation work will be finished by tomorrow, so good news. I do pray that I will have some picture that aren't about mud & concrete soon. Click the "Read more" button to see more pictures.

Day 131 With the weather that we have experienced over the last couple of weeks it is amazing that anything has been achieved. However, yesterday the church foundations were completed with the final thirty cubic meters, out of the total four hundred and forty three cubic meters concrete were poured.
